It is strongly recommended that before purchasing any vessel that you have a survey undertaken. If your vessel is over a certain age you may require a marine survey for insurance purposes, or if you are taking out a marine mortgage it is normal to have a marine survey, you will then need to employ the services of a qualified surveyor to carry out the work on your behalf. A survey is a completely independent, unbiased and in depth report on a vessel. |
